FTIsland의 두 번째 미니앨범
FTIsland Beautiful Journey

밴드 FTIsland가 <바래>에 이어 약 1여년 만에 앨범을 들고 컴백한다. 올해 5월 초 일본 메이저 데뷔를 성공적으로 한 이들은 2장의 앨범을 모두 오리콘차트 5위를 시키며 이들의 실력을 일본에서 유감없이 발휘해다. 또한, 일본의 대표적인 락 페스티벌 <섬머소닉>에 참여하였으며, 제브(ZEPP)공연장을 돌며 공연을 벌이는 공연은 모두 2만여명의 관객을 모으며 탄탄한 입지를 굳혔다. 꾸준히 일본과 한국을 오가며 앨범을 발표하고 실력을 쌓아가며 끝없이 발전하는 FTIsland의 음악이 기대된다. 또한, 한층 성숙하고 안정된 보컬 이홍기의 보이스와 수 많은 공연으로 실려글 다져온 최종훈, 이재진, 송승현, 최민환의 연주실력을 느낄 수 있을 것이다.

총 다섯 곡으로 구성된 이번 앨범은 의 타이틀로 음악으로의 여행을 떠나는 다섯 남자들의 모습을 보여주고 있다.

1. 사랑 사랑 사랑
FTIsland만의 음악적 색깔이 잘 묻어나는 곡으로 이홍기만의 안정적이고 파워풀한 보이스를 느낄 수 있다.
2. 굳은 살이 박혀버려..
굳은 살이 박힌 것 처럼 떠나보내지 못한 연인에 대한 아픈 마음을 잘 느낄 수 있는 락 발라드 곡이다.
3. Baby love
시원한 파도 소리와 함께 시작되는 이홍기의 달콤한 목소리가 돋보이는 곡으로 잔잔한 어쿠스틱 기타와 반복되는 피아노 선율, 그리고 후렴구의 디스코리듬이 어우러져 더욱더 매력을 더하는 곡이다.
4. 미친 듯이 너 하나만
피아노 선율로 시작되는 ‘미친 듯이 너 하나만’이라는 곡은 ‘미친듯이’라는 가사의 반복적 표현으로 너 하나만을 그리워하고 기다린다는 곡의 내용을 더욱더 애절하게 표현하였다.
5. 돈키호테의 노래
국내 앨범 중 첫 음으로 멤버 최종훈이 작곡에 참여하여 많은 관심을 받는 곡으로 시원한 기타선율과 함께 파워풀한 이홍기의 보이스가 돋보이는 곡으로 돈키호테의 자유롭고 정열적이며 희망찬 삶을 노래 하였다.

여행을 다녀오면 새로운 마음가짐과 더 넓은 생각을 가지고 심기일전 하듯이 이번 앨범을 통해 한층 성숙되고 음악에 대한 FTIsland의 깊은 생각을 느낄 수 있을 것 이다.

Consisting of a total of 5 songs, this new mini album, “Beautiful Journey” will show – as the title suggests – the image of these five boys’ music journey.

1. Love Love Love You’ll be able to feel Lee Hong Ki’s smooth and powerful voice through FT Island’s colorful song.

2. Calluses Being Stuck..This is a rock ballad song that reveals the pain of a hurt heart for the hardness of one who can’t forget his lover.

3. Baby Love Combined with the fresh sound of ocean waves in the beginning and Lee Hong Ki’s sweet voice, this song shows more and more charm with its mellow acoustic guitar and repeated piano melody, harmonized with the disco rhythm of the chorus.

4. Crazily Looking Only at You Starting off with a piano melody, “Crazily looking only at you” is a song that repetitively expresses “crazy” lyrics, a bittersweet portrayal of missing only you and waiting for only you.

5. The Song of Don Quixote Out of all the Korean albums, this is the first song that member Choi Jong Hoon has participated in composing and thus has reason to receive special attention. A fresh guitar melody harmonized with Lee Hong Ki’s powerful voice, this song sings of the freedom and passion of Don Quixote life of hope.
